Of course you have to expect some give and take in that regard, but it's also the reason why I only gave it a 7 and not an 8-10. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but it lacks the Total War feel. The game has been dumbed down dramatically, in particular with managing provinces and raising armies. What I mean is that I'm playing Warhammer, but it doesn't necessarily feel like Total War. After the release of Total War: Attila, I was worried that the franchise might not rebound, but with Warhammer it seems to be on the right path, but not necessarily the right direction.
